According to Kgothatso Cokoto of Springs Art Gallery, the reckoning is primarily tainted by radically uncertain global futures, honed by the physical-emotional-economic challenges posed by Covid-19.“

“During the pandemic, society collectively held onto the hope that the global shutdowns would end,” said Cokoto.

The exhibition will be facilitated by Artbank SA assistant project manager Nkosinathi Gumede, who will be joined by exhibiting artists Mncedi Madolo, Vivien Kohler and Stephen Langa as they talk through some of the major themes that will be seen on the day.

The event will be held at the library building, Springs Art Gallery at 11:00. For more information, contact Cokoto on 011 999 8726.
