Rus ’n Bietjie fête promises to be fun and exciting
To raise funds, Rus ’n Bietjie Old Age Home will host its annual fête on October 29.
A fun-filled day awaits the residents and community at the Rus ’n Bietjie Old Age Home fête on October 29.
Rus ’n Bietjie Old Age Home will be hosting its annual fundraising event, which is set to bring lots of fun and entertainment to attendees.
The fête is aimed at raising funds for the home and proceeds will go towards its maintenance.
“We have leaking taps, our property needs to be repainted and our floors are damaged. With this fundraising event, we are hoping that the funds can help us with our day-to-day needs,” said Zlena Wassenaar.
On the day, people may look forward to stalls that sell a variety of foods such as curry and rice, hamburgers, boerewors rolls, jaffles, pancakes, assorted cakes and mouth-watering homemade sauces.
“Also, the little ones may look forward to popcorn, candy floss, and lots of sweets,” added Wassenaar.
The fête will be held at Rus ’n Bietjie Old Age Home, 33 Sarel Cilliers Street, Paul Kruger Oord, on October 29 and will start at 09:00.
