Members of the public have joined hands to help support the SPCA this winter, and you can get involved too.
“Our biggest need is food. The dogs go through 100kgs of food a day,” explained Nicky Meirign, vice-chairperson of the SPCA.
She said the society also needs blankets or towels and jackets to keep the animals warm.
“The drive will go on for the duration of the season,” she added.
Residents can drop off their donations at Born Fierce Functional Gym on 6 Phoenix Road.
