CPF chairperson donates baby clothes to needy mothers

The chairperson is happy with the response of donations and thanked those companies that have assisted.

Wright Park CPF chairperson Arles Baloyi has an ongoing community project where he donates school uniforms to learners in need.
This was recently reported in the Advertiser, and Baloyi has since received a massive response from the community reaching out to assist.
“It is a calling to help and see everyone happy. I wake up every day to knock on the doors of different organisations and NGOs to seek sponsorships,” said Baloyi.
A local paper factory sponsored clothes and toiletries for newborn babies.
“The only place I decided to donate these clothes to was the Far East Rand Hospital. Every day a new baby is born. It came to my understanding that not all families are privileged to buy clothes for their newborn babies,” he said.

Baloyi also invites other individuals and businesses to reach out to such institutions and assist people who are in need.
“Let’s assist each other to help individuals or organisations that are in need. This will be ongoing for things that I will focus on this year. Whatever I receive, I know will make a huge difference,” he said.
The chairperson is happy with the response of donations and thanked those companies that have assisted.
Far East Rand Hospital communications officer Ntuthuka Phumza said the hospital appreciates the donations.
“The donation will help the needy mothers who come to our hospital with no clothes for the babies.
“The donation will help ensure such needy babies are discharged wearing decent newborn baby clothes. We thank the CPF for thinking about us and hope our relationship will grow from here,” said Phumza.
