Residents join hands to clean up park

“The park is used by our children and families, however, it was once again very dirty and the grass had grown wild."

Ward councillor Thulani Simelane teamed up with Pollak Park residents on February 12 to clean up the park in Extension Three.

He said the clean-up was organised by resident Nkululeko Kwalo after seeing the need to maintain the park.
The clean-up started at 08:30 where volunteers met at a local petrol station to gather with other members of the community.

“The park is used by our children and families, however, it was once again very dirty and the grass had grown wild. We thought residents could help clean the park as we did last time, helping to also reconnect as neighbours,” said Kwalo.
