Pan African Shotokan Karate Do Federation seeks sponsorship

“We are still in search of sponsorship for the trip. There are 25 people that we need to accommodate but we do not have funding."

Pan African Shokotan Karate Do Federation has been selected to compete at the Martial Arts Federation World Championship from March 29 until April 2.
Founder Michael Cindi said the competition will be held in Namibia and will be a great opportunity for his young students.

Pan African Shokotan Karate Do Federation is requesting the community’s assistance with sponsorships to enable them to compete in Namibia.

“There will be 68 countries competing throughout the competition. I would really like for us to be part of it, since we have been selected,” said Cindi.
He explained the challenge now is funding for the students.
“We are still in search of sponsorship for the trip. There are 25 people we need to accommodate, but we do not have funding.

“This is an experience of a lifetime, especially for the children. I am not even looking into winning the tournament but to experience it since they have never competed outside the country. It would be wonderful if they go out there to experience martial arts with other countries,” he said.
Cindi said they would appreciate the community of Springs supporting in any way they can.
“We have been training so hard since the beginning of the year. The children are looking forward to competing in Namibia.
“We do not want to disappoint them, all we want is assistance in making their wish happen. Parents can also assist with donations to make the children’s dreams come true,” he said.
