Pan African Shotokan Karate Do Federation prepare for competition

“We are in preparations to compete in the Eastern Cape in March. We are looking forward to the competition and we cannot wait to bring the title home."

Pan African Shotokan Karate Do Federation shihan Michael Cindi said they are back in classes after the festive season.
“We are in preparations to compete in the Eastern Cape in March. We are looking forward to the competition and we cannot wait to bring the title home,” he said.
They will be competing for the world championship title.

“Not everyone is back as yet but since we have informed them about the competitions, they are keen to return. There is a lot we need to do and we believe through hard work and dedication we will prevail,” said Cindi.
Cindi has been practising karate since 1969 and is still passionate about the martial art. He earned his black belt in 1978.

He said their classes cater to children from the age of five to adults.
“Everyone is welcome to join the classes. We have classes on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. On Saturdays we have an advanced class but anyone who wants to join is welcome.”
