MMA fighter wins first pro fight in dominant performance

MMA fighter Gift Walker walked away victorious from his first pro MMA fight in Johannesburg on Saturday at EFC 89.

MMA fighter Gift Walker walked away victorious from his first pro MMA fight in Johannesburg on Saturday at EFC 89.
Walker took on Zwelibanzi Ngema in the Bantamweight category and won via submission in a mounted guillotine choke hold in the third round of the fight.

The fight referee held Gift Walker’s fist aloft in victory.

Ngema fights out of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, and is described as having good range backed with a lot of experience in MMA.
Walker trains with JP Kruger at House of Tinkerbell, with other talented fighters, many of whom have also proven their worth in professional fights.

Walker’s strengths include clean boxing striking and being a groomed, decisive and talented submission wrestler.
