Submit your property rebate forms electronically
In terms of the Municipal Property Rates Policy, with the new property rates kicking in on July 1, all those who previously qualified for rebates must resubmit their applications from July 1.
The City of Ekurhuleni has announced that applications for property rates rebates can now be submitted electronically.
In terms of the Municipal Property Rates Policy, with the new property rates kicking in on July 1, all those who previously qualified for rebates must resubmit their applications from July 1.
This includes pensioners and disabled residential property owners. Application forms can be downloaded from the City’s website.

In view of the increase in Covid-19 infections, application forms and supporting documentation must be scanned in PDF format and submitted electronically to the applicable customer care centre.
The first two digits (prefix) on the service account indicates the applicable customer care centre, for example, account number 2192345625 is in Alberton.
For Springs, the prefix is 35.
When submitting, please make sure all the necessary documentation is included.
