An Eastvale woman and her nine-month-old baby were ambushed by hijackers as they returned home on December 4.
According to Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora the woman, travelling in her boyfriend’s black BMW E90, arrived at the address and stopped in front of the gate.
“She was confronted by three armed men, who forced their way into the vehicle.

They then drove off with the victim and her baby. They dropped her and the baby off in Leachville, Brakpan,” he said.
No shots were fired and no injuries were reported.
The victim was taken to the Brakpan SAPS where she opened a case and the vehicle was later recovered in Vosloorus, Boksburg.
