Springs bowlers put in their week’s practice on Saturday in preparation for an upcoming competition at the Springs Town Bowling Club.
The bowlers are relieved that competitions are finally underway and are looking forward to the Springs Fever Trips competition.
This annual competition takes place over five weeks and hosts teams from all over the East Rand.

In total, 22 teams from Benoni, Brakpan, Boksburg and Delmas pay the Springs Town Bowling Club a visit in a battle for dominance.
The matches are held every Wednesday at the club.
The Springs bowlers are well prepared as they have taken to the greens every weekend for social games after lockdown regulations were relaxed and they were permitted to do so.
