SPCA in a stronger financial position

SPCA recovering financially

The Springs SPCA held their AGM on Friday night.

At last year’s AGM, the SPCA found themselves in a difficult financial situation.

During that time, the society was in arrears and lacking funds from government.

However this year, in May, the SPCA received a massive donation from the City of Ekurhuleni.

They have also received numerous donations from individuals and companies.

Successful fund-raising events have also relieved some of the pressure.

The committee also thanked all staff members, volunteers and donors for their hard work and positive mindset.
