A popular restaurant was robbed by two suspects last Friday morning.
Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora says a pair of security guards were on duty when they spotted two suspects.

One of the suspects was hiding by the wall with a rod in his hand, while the other suspect, armed with a gun, demanded the guards’ cellphones and company keys.
He then broke the gate and window of the business, before taking a 52-inch TV and fled on foot.

No shots were fired and no injuries were reported.
The value of the stolen cellphones and TV is R9 060.
