New park for all to enjoy
The park was abuzz with the laughter of children as they enjoyed the swings and other fun equipment.
The Park in Pollak Park Extension Three is finally complete and open to the public.
Construction began on September 2 after numerous requests from the community, and was complete by November 22.
The community wanted a safe place for their children to play and exercises in the afternoons after school.

People who go to this park can enjoy various gym equipment, swings and a relaxing picnic area.

Ward Clr Thulani Simelane says: “This park will serve the communities of Pollak Park Extension Three, Four and Five.
“We ask the people of the community to keep the park clean after they have had an event here.
“We also hope that there will be no criminal activities going on here.
