The newly built park in Springs Extension, which was opened earlier this year, has been subject to vandalism and littering.
According to residents, adults frequently come to the park where they drink and party late into the evenings.
Some residents allege that the park is used to peddle drugs and that regular dealings take place here.

Resident Michael Yiannakis says: “My children can’t play here anymore.

“Since the park was built crime has increased and houses are being broken into every week.”
