Eco Elementum will have only one public meeting on prospecting rights of coal company

The meeting was a result of Bultfontein Coal revealing that they had applied for prospecting rights on portions of land that include farms in Holfontein and Vischkuil.

Eco Elementum, who have done the basic assessment report (BAR) on behalf of Bultfontein Coal, have revealed that Devon was chosen for the public participation meeting, held last Friday, because it is a central location.

The meeting was a result of Bultfontein Coal revealing that they had applied for prospecting rights on portions of land that include farms in Holfontein and Vischkuil.

The purpose of the meeting was to hear from interested and affected parties. Speaking on behalf of Eco Elementum, Vernon Siemelink says the BAR will only be finalised after the public participation process is done.
