A Geduld shop is R5 000 poorer after a robbery on Sunday evening, says Springs Police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora.
The complainant was in the shop with four of his employees helping customers when he noticed four suspects walking into the shop.

Two of the suspects stood at the counter and one of the men pulled out his gun and pointed it at him.
He then walked around the counter and took R5 000 from the cash register.
The suspect also took R800 in coins, cigarettes and a cellphone.

The suspects also assaulted one of the employees with the gun on his head before they pushed the employees to the back of the shop where they sleep, and tied them up.
Suspects fled soon after.
