Impala Platinum Refineries hosts charity golf day

Proceeds from this event were donated to Epilepsy SA in Springs (R40 000) and Felicitas School (R25 000) in Brakpan.

Impala Refineries Golf Club hosted a charity golf day at Royal Oak Country Club on August 22.

Their suppliers opened their hearts and wallets to contribute to this charity day which made it possible for the company to support two worthy institutions within the East Rand community.

Pravin Naidoo, chairmain of Impala Refineries Golf Club hands over a cheque for R17 000 to Daleen Visser (principal) and Salomè Herbst from Felicitas School. After reconciliation of monies raised for this worthy cause, an amount of R25 000 was actually handed over to the school.

“Both these institutions play a vital role in our society, by caring and improving the quality of life for the less fortunate people and children of our community.

“The staff of both these institutions are motivated, loving and caring and make a huge difference in the lives of the people in their care,” says Pravin Naidoo, chairmain of Impala Refineries Golf Club who handed over the cheques.
