All three fields were occupied with matches with boys of ages ranging from six to 18 years.

Hot dogs, ice cream and other refreshments were on offer for the onlookers and families cheering on their teams who played their hearts out.

It wasn’t all fun and games, however, as 10 clubs were competing in a league and the games would determine which teams go through to the semi-finals.

The u-9s and u-18s were involved in these league games, while the u-6s and u-8s played friendly games.

More than 1 500 rugby enthusiasts attended the day.
