Both teams scored five tries, but André Smith’s two extra penalty kicks ensured the home side’s victory.

Springs improved their defence and restricted Impala to only one try in the second half.

As a result of this outstanding victory, Springs are still going strong in the Volcano League by remaining in the top four teams and proving their home ground to be very tough territory.

The try scorers were Zach van Loggerenberg, Marco Niemandt, Nico Furby, Shaun Botes and André Grobbelaar, with André Smith performing the conversions.
