Suspects break into Pollak Park house

The owner then crept back into his bedroom and phoned his brother to inform him he was being robbed and to call the police.

 

Suspects broke into a house in Pollak Park just after midnight on Sunday evening.

The owner of the house had just gone to sleep when he heard a funny sound coming from the lounge.

Upon investigation, he saw a suspect pushing his couch.

The owner then crept back into his bedroom and phoned his brother to inform him he was being robbed and to call the police.

The suspects, who spoke Northern Sotho and wore balaclavas, made off with a computer and a cellphone.

No shots were fired during the robbery and the suspects gained entry into the house by forcing the burglar bars open.
