Springs Old Boys Bowling Club mixed-pairs competition

The Springs Old Boys Bowling Club held their mixed-pairs competition this past Sunday.

This was a good warm-up for the weekend’s upcoming competition and league.

The results for the weekend’s competition are:

• Lyn Seiderer and Raymond Pratt won 20-13 against Scotch Thompson and Cheryl Brooks.

• Sharon Pratt and Brentley Harrison beat Margie Macdonald and John Houghton 20-16.

• Bea Gosse and Rod Cory lost against Stuart Pollock and Claire Gosse 14-20.

• Jon Birbeck and Paula Birbeck won 22-10 against Mike Clarke and Estelle Maartens.

The club has social bowls on Tuesdays at 9am.

The Wednesday Ladies League starts at 9.30am and the Saturday Ladies League starts at 2pm.
