A flat in the Cidar Valley complex in Krugersrus was broken into on Thursday night.
The couple were in the lounge when the mother went to feed her baby in the bedroom.
She was then confronted by three suspects, who were carrying a knife, a spanner and a screwdriver.

The woman then screamed and alerted the husband who grabbed the woman and the baby and locked themselves into a room and shouted for help.
After seeing that the suspects had left the flat, the couple discovered the flat had been ransacked.
A plasma screen TV and a cellphone were stolen.
Nobody was injured during the course of the robbery.
