Nine-year-old Zane Barnard has won 12 provincial beauty titles this year alone.
During the Miss Province SA competition held in Pretoria in August, she was chosen to be a finalist for Little, Junior and Miss Teen ZA 2019 that will be held on November 24 and 25 in Bedfordview. Here, 12 finalists in her age group, nine to 11 years, will be competing for the title of Junior Miss Teen ZA 2019.
This will be the first time she is competing in a nationally recognised competition.
The beauty queen is currently hosting a Feed A Child charity project where she is collecting non-perishable food for children aged three to six years old.

Zane, who started participating in pageants at three years old, says: “Modelling is not just a pretty face or knowing how to walk on a ramp.
“It is about learning self-confidence and giving back to the community.”
The Laerskool Selectionpark learner, who took a two-year break from pageants to concentrate on other activities like drama, hockey, dance and school, has won numerous titles since her return to the pageant scene last year.
Her mother, Suzette Barnard, is extremely proud of her daughter.
