“I’m not supposed to be looking for the gorilla, I’m supposed to be looking for the ball.”

Harold’s life is not going as planned, in a series of unfortunate accidents, both (mostly) negative and positive, Harold discovers he is about to lose his job, his wife is cheating on him and he isn’t very good at deception.

When the mild-mannered businessman finds himself at the mercy of his backstabbing bosses, he takes things into his own hands and “arranges” his own kidnapping while on a business trip in Mexico.

Things quickly go awry when he discovered that the company really doesn’t care about his welfare, going as far as to hire a hit man to kill him to ensure the company benefits from an insurance policy they have on his life.

Harold soon finds himself in a number of odd and unlikely situations, two of which lead to the deaths of people at his hand.

Gringo is a fun watch which demonstrates that when it comes to crime, nice guys finish last.

Or do they?

Not for children, this is a great film for an adult night in so contact the babysitter, pop the popcorn and get ready to laugh.
