Suspects flee with R7 000 after robbery at Carp Inn
The suspect also assaulted Vollenbuoek at the back of his head with the firearm.
A local business on 9th Avenue was robbed on Monday afternoon.
Two suspects took cash to the value of R7 000 and a Casio wristwatch valued at R500.
Business owner Quinton Vollenbuoek was standing outside the shop when he was approached by a man pretending to be a customer at about 4.30pm.
One of the suspects, armed with a 9mm pistol, pointed it at the complainant and demanded cash and his car keys.

A metro police officer found the complainant lying on the floor and immediately called the police.
Vollenbuoek sustained a few injuries and a case docket of business robbery was opened at the Springs Police Station.
