Ansa van Maanen hits R16-million in sales

“I never count sales, I just do my job,” says Ansa.

Local realtor at Markon, Ansa van Maanen has won an award from a bond originating company for reaching sales of over R16-million in the financial year June 2017 to July this year.

Out of the 34 agents that were on the list, Ansa came in at number 14.

Ansa’s achievement is all the more impressive because she was competing with agents from Sandton and Randburg where the average starting price for a house is much higher than the R600 000 in Springs.

Henlo Meyer, Ansa van Maanen, Madelein Nelson and Kobie Truter all celebrate the joyous occasion.

Handing over the award to Ansa was a consultant from the bond originating company, Madelein Nelson, who has worked with Ansa for years.

On receiving the award, Ansa was thrilled.

“I was in disbelief when I first heard about it.

“I feel overwhelmed and blessed.

“I never count sales, I just do my job,” says Ansa.

When asked what makes her such a good realtor, Ansa says it’s staying focus, not postponing and not letting the disappointment of yesterday hold her back.

Speaking at the handover of the award, Henlo Meyer, owner of Markon, praised Ansa for a fantastic achievement.

“Thank you for your hard work.

“The way you treat your clients and you positive attitude. You were just born with it.

“To the other staff members, let this be an inspiration to you and use it to motivate you,” says Meyer.
