At its annual general meeting (AGM) on April 16, the Probus Club of Springs inducted Deirdre Woest as the president for the year May 2018 to April 2019.
The outgoing president, Marion Mitchell, presented Woest with the President’s badge and the Chain of Office and wished her a very successful tenure as president of Probus Club of Springs.

Probus is a worldwide organisation of retired people who have had a measure of responsibility in their field of endeavour and who would like to add a new dimension to their retirement by participating in the social and related activities of the club.
Probus is not a fund-raising organisation but an organisation designed to promote social interaction by visiting places of interest, being stimulated by visiting speakers and sharing information on issues of concern to senior citizens.
The Springs Probus Club meets on the third Monday of the month.
