Springs woman claims to have spotted UFO hovering over Selcourt
“I just saw something in the sky and there were red and green lights flashing from it.”
Selcourt resident Carey-An Khourie-Beets was recently saying goodbye to friends when she looked up into the night sky and saw a strange object hovering in the air.
“I just saw something in the sky and there were red and green lights flashing from it.
“There was a humming sound coming from it and it was just hovering there and didn’t move at all until it dropped down and then flew in the opposite direction,” says Khourie-Beets.

The incident happened at around 7pm and Khourie-Beets thought the object influenced the weather as the lighting seemed to increase with the unidentified flying object (UFO) around.
Although Khourie-Beets has checked, she has not seen the UFO since.
“I couldn’t determine the size of the object, but it was very distinct,” says Khourie-Beets.
The Selcourt resident was left wondering what the object could have been.
“It was my first time seeing it and I really don’t know what it was.
“It could have been a drone for all I know,” says Khourie-Beets.
