Wife from Selcourt stops hijackers in their tracks

A Selcourt man was almost hijacked in his driveway while leaving for work on Friday, but quick action from his wife deterred the would-be robbers.

At around 6.30am, the 39-year-old man opened the motorised gate to leave for work when he was accosted by two armed suspects.
