Springs police officers arrested a man in possession of nyaope in the Springs CBD recently.
While on a routine patrol in Third Avenue around 8am, the officers noticed a suspicious looking man and stopped to search him.
During their search, they came across the nyaope and arrested him.
Capt Johannes Ramphora, spokesperson of the Springs police, says the drugs were estimated to be worth about R500.
