November has begun and so has our ‘Finest Beard’ competition.
‘Movember‘ may traditionally be about the tash but we’re more interested in a full-bodied look and since the aim is to raise awareness of men’s health, especially prostate cancer, we thought why not give every Bro a chance to win.
We have a R500 voucher from PnP Strubenvale to give to the man with the best beard in town so it’s time to show off your facial hair.
The competition started on November 1 and runs until November 17 when our readers will vote on the beard they like best.
If you’re thinking of starting a beard, take some inspiration from the stories here or online and get growing.
The rules are simple:
• You need a beard – so if you’ve already got one, flaunt it.
• If you haven’t got the perfect beard just yet, don’t worry, we are giving you a little time to join the ‘brothers in beards’.
• Send us a photo of your beard between November 1 and 17. You can also include a video motivation explaining why yours is the beard to beat.
• The competition is open to anyone who lives or works in Springs.
• All photos will be published online at www.springsadvertiser.co.za on November 18 and in the Advertiser on November 23 when our readers will have a chance to vote for the winning beard.
• Voting will be done online by adding the name of your favourite bearded Springsite in the comment section of the story,
• Voting closes at 10am on November 27 and the winner will be announced in the Springs Advertiser on November 30.
