Swinging for Esda
On August 31, Impala Platinum Refineries hosted a charity golf day at Royal Oak Country Club.
Impala Platinum Refineries’ suppliers were invited to sponsor four-balls and to donate to the charity.
The golf day was a huge success with 96 golfers taking part and teeing off in perfect golfing conditions.
With the help of the 24 different companies that contributed to this day, Impala Platinum raised R70 000 for the ESDA frail care centre.
The cheque was handed over to Petru Burr-Dixon from ESDA recently.
ESDA is an old age home that also looks after frail and disabled senior citizens.
The amount raised from the charity golf day will go a long way towards helping ESDA provide excellent care to its elderly patients.
ESDA welcomes any donations or sponsors because a little goes a long way in helping the senior citizens.
