Unclaimed goods on offer at SAPS auction

Potential buyers can place the bid at the upcoming SAPS auction.

Ekurhuleni East Cluster will hold its annual auction at the Springs Police Station, Welgedacht Road, Springs, on August 17.

Starting at 10am, the auction will offer unclaimed goods confiscated by the SAPS over the past year.

Capt Marinda Pieters, head of the supply chain management, says it will be a silent auction.

She explains all individuals will be given a certain time to view all the items.

“During the viewing, the buyers will be given the opportunity to bid on their items of choice,” she says.

Once the bids have been placed, the highest bidder will be informed telephonically to collect their purchased items.

Pieters says the buyers will be given time to pay their allotted amount after which they can remove the times before 4pm on the same day.
