The victims, a 29-year-old man and his cousin, were stopped by the ‘police officer’ while driving.
He got into their car and told them to drive to a nearby mealie field.

Springs police spokesman Capt Johannes Ramphora says the suspect assaulted the two victims and took their money and three cellphones.
“The suspect then got into another vehicle, a Toyota Corolla, and drove off,” says Ramphora.
