Cattells Industrial Footwear

Cattell’s Industrial Footwear was founded in 1961 by the late F B Cattell, as an independent shoe retailer supplying women’s, men’s and children’s footwear in Springs, trading as Cattell’s Shoe Centre.

The business is now run by his son Rob Cattell.

Late 1989, Cattell’s started selling industrial footwear with the introduction of the direct injection double density polyurethane process, making safety footwear by Bagshaw marketing ‘Lemaitre’ safety footwear.

In 2005 they moved from the centre of Springs into the industrial area of Nuffield into premises that are spacious and they are able to provide the service that is needed in the safety footwear industry.

Cattell’s is the accredited suppliers of the BBF Group which comprise of Lemaitre, Bova, Fram, Wayne and SiSi women’s safety footwear as well as Rebel, Caterpillar and Profit industrial footwear.

Cattell’s is the biggest independent distributor of safety footwear in South Africa.
