Capt Johannes Ramphora, Springs police spokesman says the men entered the shop at 10am and informed the staff at the counter that “this a robbery”.
“One of the men showed an employee a hidden firearm,” he says.

They then ordered an employee to open the store room and stripped the store of its stock.
“The men, who had bags with them, proceeded to rob the store of cellphones and modems,” says Ramphora.
Before the suspects fled the scene they locked all the customers and a staff member in the store room.
