Ermelo Road accident leaves man seriously injured

When the police arrived at the scene, they found the EMPD and Strubenvale CPF already there.

A man (name unkown) was lying in the middle of the road.

EMPD spokesman Clifford Shongwe says the driver and passenger of the white Kia were traumatised.

Springs police spokesman Amanda Greybe says the vehicle was damaged in the front and the windscreen was cracked.

Paramedics arrived at the scene and treated the man on the scene.

“He sustained serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital,” she says.
