HAVE you noticed the red icon on the corner of our pages? Have you been wondering what it means?

Introducing the new way to get the important local news you need, quickly and reliably. We are now using a push notification system that, should you subscribe, will alert you to breaking news directly on your desktop or device.

To activate the push notification system simply click on the red bell icon at the bottom left of our site, and click on “Enable Notifications”. If there is a green pip on the icon you will be receiving notifications of important stories directly from us. If the pip is red you are missing out.
