With only 48 hours left, it’s time to map out your route around the myriad stores to be seen at Saturday’s Wheels and Wings fun day.
For just the price of an item of tinned food (your entry fee at the gate), you can enjoy five live bands as well as a host of other entertaining activities.
The Springs Advertiser and African Reporter will once again host this family day at the Springs Airfield.
The fun kicks off at 9am and the gates will close at 4pm.
There will be three entrances – two for pedestrians and one for vehicles with secure parking available inside the airfield’s grounds.
The day is hosted with the help of our sponsors ProSafe, Reynolds Travel Centre, Gold One Modder East Operations, PFG Building Glass, The East Rand Flying Club, Geduld CPSF, Dal Fouche DFCA, The Rotary Club of Springs Park, Elsmari Florist and Wheels in the Sky.

The following bands will be on stage during the day:

- 1pm Skinnee Sunrise
- 2pm The Color Blew
- 3pm Last Chance Seattle
Demonstrations
- 10am Crossfit Shack who will be on hand all day with their equipment.
- 11am Demonstration by EMPD K9 Unit.
There will also be a beer tent and tea garden, as well as a kiddies play area.
Don’t forget to bring your item of nonperishable food – one per person attending for distribution to the three selected charities.
