The robbery happened on July 1 around 11am, as a helper was vacuuming in the house.
As the helper looked up, she was startled by an unknown man in the lounge who was carrying a laptop.
Seeing that the helper had spotted him, the first suspect ran after the her with a knife, caught her and told her to lie down.
Two other men appeared shortly thereafter, holding the owner of the house.
The suspects walked away with jewellery, a cellphone, laptop and cash.
Ramphora says they believed the owner of the house sustained some injuries; however it is unclear when and where, because by the time police arrived she had gone to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
