Following the report regarding a burst pipe on Hills road in Selection Park (Burst pipe causes water restriction concerns), the metro has since responded.
Mayoral spokesman, Zweli Dlamini, says no exact address for the burst was recorded at the metro’s service call centre.
“A complaint was lodged with the call centre thereafter, and a team was dispatched to the site,” says Dlamini.
“The pipe was repaired on June 10.”
“Resident’s are urged to report such cases through the call centre on 0860 543 000 and get a reference number so as to be assisted efficiently.”
