Mans sent an email to Marinda van der Walt, his business partner, today (Friday) to inform her that he is in Germiston and that he is fine.
“He apologised for disappearing without informing me where he was,” she says.
Mans left his business in Fourth Avenue, Geduld, at 7.15am on Wednesday to buy stock and never returned.
A missing person‘s case was opened at the Springs Police Station on Wednesday, but the case was transferred to Brakpan Police Station on Thursday.
His vehicle was found abandoned in Voortrekker Street, Brakpan, on Wednesday afternoon with the keys still in the ignition.
Van der Walt says they were concerned about his health as he was complaining of chest pains when he left on Wednesday.
“I am relieved that he is safe. However, he did not mention when he will return to Geduld,” says van der Walt.
