The police arrested a 25-year-old man for the possession of stolen property.
Capt Johannes Ramphora, Springs police spokesman, says upon further investigation the police discovered the suspect was involved in another case of house robbery and theft in Dal Fouche.
The man was charged with house robbery and the possession of suspected stolen goods.
A fan and a weed eater was found in the suspect’s possession.
Ramphora says they are still investigating whether any of the items were stolen during recent house robberies.
The suspect will remain in custody until he appears in court.
