Load shedding held at bay for another day

The power system is currently stable and, as a result, no load shedding is anticipated.

Eskom continues to make progress with its maintenance programme but the system remains tight.

Customers are encouraged to continue to use electricity efficiently throughout the day at home and the office, and to encourage friends and family to do the same.

Eskom will continue to provide regular updates on the state of the power system.
