The Grade Eight learners participated in the Olympiad at Laerskool Pam Brink.
Schools had to enter three teams of three learners each to compete in the Olympiad.
All three teams from Springs Secondary School qualified for the district level.
Team one, which was made up of Padachey Romashni, Moonsammy Jada and Rampele Tshepiso, were awarded first position.
Team two, Choma Katlego, Kumalo Micheal and Maharaj Karishma, and team three, Mbombo Inga, Agmudin Ammaarah and Mpanza Nonhlanhla, shared third position.
The district elimination round was held on Tuesday at the Dalpark Teachers Centre.
