Community’s loyal support

The Springs Hospice Shop celebrated their fifth anniversary with their loyal customers.

As part of the celebrations, shop manager, Mandy Beukes, served soup and bread rolls to the customers as a thank you token for their continued support.

Since opening its doors in June 2010, the shop has continued to offer customers bargain buys.

The popular lucky packets sell like hotcakes and are actually clothing bags filled with clothing items that have been in the shop for six weeks.

“We put clothes in a black refuse bag and sell the lucky packet for R5.

The community loves buying these lucky packets,” says Mandy.

The shop raises much needed funds which are used to care for terminally ill patients.

Mandy and her staff are grateful to all the customers who have supported them thus far and wish to thank them for their loyalty.

Donations of good quality clothing and household items are always welcome.

For more information visit the shop at Chalu Place, 210 Nigel Road in Selcourt or phone 011 363 3128.
