Cleaning up the SPCA
Local businesses did their part for the community on Mandela Day.
Approximately 30 employees from a local insurance company spent Friday at the Springs SPCA doing gardening maintenance.
They mowed the lawn, trimmed the trees and bushes, raked up leaves, cleared out fallen branches and did other basic gardening.
The group also brought a big donation for the SPCA, consisting mostly of dog and cat food.
Staff at the SPCA were thrilled with the help they received.
