Get festive with Christmas in July

The Springs Advertiser and The Avenues welcome the community to bring their families and join the festive fun, from 9am to 5pm.

There will be entertainment for the whole family with vintage Harley Davidsons on show and many flea market stalls available to do some early Christmas shopping.

Enjoy a treasure hunt with three prizes up for grabs, each worth about R2 500.

There is a variety of children’s entertainment available on the day.

Christmas in July will also entertain with:

• Chess

• Dominos

• Snakes and ladders

• A jumping castle

• Photo booth with Father Christmas (who is called Bananas)

• Buskers

• Christian Dance Academy demonstrations

• Crafts

• Kiddies game shows

• Cars on display from various dealers

• Caravans on display

• South African National Blood Services will be there and will give a gift to those who donate blood on the day

• East Rand Stereo will broadcast live on the day

• Food stalls

The public is welcome to bring donations of dog food, cat food and other non-perishable foods, and all proceeds will go to the Addie’s two charities, the Springs SPCA and Vita Nova Centre.
