Friends enjoy a fun golf day at Pollak Park
Several players joined in the fun of the Fifo and The Stayers Golf Fun Day held at Pollak Park Golf Course on Sunday.
Pollak Park Golf Club’s operations director Darren Plumb says the club decided to host an exciting and entertaining event on Sunday morning to celebrate golf and friendship.
With 80 close friends taking part in the event, Eddie Browning came out tops with 37 points before all enjoyed the wonderful prawns and espetada for lunch.
Darren is grateful to all who supported the club on the day.
“Even the weather played its part, and who could ever complain about winter in Springs”, he says.
Ian McGrail won the Friday Meat Competition with 20 and 22 points.
Saturday’s PM Competition was won by Derek Waters with 42 points.
The Sunday AM Club Competition winner was Hein Snyman with 42 points.
